Zinc

The mineral salts of zinc have many different functions in the body. The body cannot produce zinc itself. For this reason, the intake of zinc through food, food supplements or medicines is of essential importance. The German Nutrition Society (DGE) recommends a zinc intake of 7 to 10 mg per day for adolescents and adults1.

Zinc contributes to a normal acid base metabolism, vitamin A metabolism and a normal metabolism of macronutrients. Furthermore, zinc contributes towards preserving eyesight, bones, hair, nails and skin.

Zinc can be administered in the form of tablets, effervescent tablets, drinking granules, direct granules, powders, capsules, coated tablets and injection solutions.

Our products are in conformity with the standard pharmacopeias (EP, USP, DAB, DAC) and/or the conditions imposed by food law (E number, FCC) and are available in different grades, particle size distributions and bulk weights.
